So yeah, Brittany's birthday party was tonight. I went there dressed to impress and just pretty much walked around for 4 hours or so. I did see quite a few people that I knew though.
After the party I went and picked up Allie to go to Wal-Mart to meet the gang from the theater. We all met at Wal-Mart and decided to go to IHOP.
**Begin Rant**
Why the hell won't the people at IHOP split checks after 10 PM. WTF? That's like the most stupid policy that I've ever heard of. What kind of deal is that. Is it really that hard to put a separate person ofn a separate receipt. It's soo stupid. It's just a way to fuck people over so that everyone contributes more money.
**END RANT**
Good night all!
I seriously need to get out of my house. My father is a jackass. I came into my house tonight and when I came into my room, I realized a drawer was open. So I went and asked my mom what she was looking for and she said "I wasn't looking for anything in your room." I then proceded to ask if either of my brother's had come home. She replied, "No." I then went and asked dad what he was looking for and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. So, I went into more detail and it all ended up with him saying, "If I want to go in that room and take anything out of it, I will." This aggrivates the shit out of me. Yes, he said SHITI seriously am thinking of moving out. Then comes the questions: Where would I go? How would I get around (if they would take my car from me)? Would I still go to WCA? How would I make money? Would I be able to get all of my savings accounts limited to just transactions by me (and not the 'rents). Then I think about emancipation. If I try to get emancipated, it's going to take forever like it did in Danielle's case. I don't even know if it's worth putting my mom through the heartache. Opinions, comments, etc. would be appreciated *_*
Mon, Apr. 17th, 2006, 05:45 pm Evening Recap
M'kay. So last night I wen to IHOP with Heather and then we went to the theater and saw The Wild, which wasn't a bad movie at all. After the movie we went to Andrew's house in Leonville and watched Saw 2. It was good, better than the first at least. After we were done watching it I brought the carpool home. I had to drop Heather & Allie and then Richard. Needless to say I ended up getting home at about 4:00 AMI ended up waking up at about 4:30 PM this afternoon. Yeah, I slept a lot.
Pretty uneventful day. I woke up at 9 to go to work at the theater at 10. Worked until 1. After work I went and picked up a sandwich at Subway. Then I went back to work and ate the sandwich there. I then went home, cleaned my room, which really needed it, and then I went back to the theater. After I left the theater for the third time today I came home really quick, and then went to the house of my Aunt Mona. We had fried fish, which was actually pretty good. I later left that event and headed over to the theater and hung out there. Now I'm back home. I'm ready to go to bed so that I can wake up in the morning and live another day. Until then, adios!
Thu, Apr. 13th, 2006, 11:07 pm Holiday
Well... It's now the holiday. School went okay for the most part today. All of the tests should have been "B" or better, so thats good. I got my Algebra 2 test back and found out I made a 71. Not good news. Well I have to work in the morning, so PEACE OUT!
To all of you that look at me like I'm stupid whenever I say "index cards," I just searched the term "index cards" on OfficeDepot.com and it came up with index cards. Whenever I typed in "note cards" it still came up with index cards. Therefore don't look at me like I'm crazy whenever I say index card because this is the same term that's accepted by Office Depot. Pictures ( Read more... )
Let's see today is going as well as it could go... I guess. Let's look through the events of the day. 1st period, Mr. Chambers wasn't at school so we watched "the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." 2nd period, we took a test and I got a 90 on it, yay me. Third hour, let's not go there. Fourth hour I forgot to do homework and completed it in about 3 minutes to turn it in for a grade. Lunch was good. Yearbook class sucked. Thibodeaux made me go shave, in turn I was tardy for class, in turn if it happens again I get a detention. Next I had my double-header of math. I took a test in Algebra 2, one that I didn't even study for, and didn't feel that confident about my work. After Algebra 2 came Geometry. Gemoetry was ok. Could have been more exciting as always. Last but not least, Bible. Bible class is the one class that I can't wait to have over for the year. I can't stand the fact that my teacher repeats almost the same exact thing constantly throughout his notes. I have no problem with the individual teacher, just his notes. Then he tells us something and gives us about 8 definitions for one thing, and they all sound exactly the same. --RANT OVER-- Alrighty, so the holiday is coming up. I'm not completely sure what I'm doing yet. I know the following things are on agenda: room cleaning, car cleaning, study for everything I missed when I went to DC (Bio Practical, Comp. Project, Research Paper, Map quizzes, yearbook parges, Bible test and memory verses), work practically everday from 10 to 1 at the movie theater. I really want to get out and do something though. Hope someone's having a party.
Tue, Apr. 11th, 2006, 04:37 pm Rant of the Day
I really don't get it. How can people be soo stupid! Okay, Wal-Mart is the ANTI-CHRIST! That is my conclusion after going to Wal-Mart today. None of the cars yield to the pedestrians and all of the stupid ass idiots go up the wrong way. What is it with the stupid people of Opelousas? I guess half of it's my fault though. I needed to go to the bank and they have a St. Landry Bank branch in Wal-Mart. I really don't like going through the drive-through at the bank, so I usually go there so that I have an excuse to see a teller. I think next time I'll just go through a drive-through at the main branch.

Yeah... I haven't written in my journal in a very very very long time. This is the one service that my friends who are actually into hardcore blogging use, therefore I've decided to keep my blog here.

Well it's been forever and ever since I've written in my journal. Mainly there really hasn't been that much going on in life. I've been working on both of my jobs. Sheriff's Department during the day, Movie Theater at night and on weekends. I've been quite tired from all of this work. It also hasn't left that much time for relaxation. I did go to Chase's house last night and play DDR though. That was fun. I really need to do some type of exercising, maybe DDR in fact, to stay in shape to play DDR. Since my last entry I've visity Lincoln, Nebraska. I had to go to Lincoln because I am on the planning committee for the National 4-H Youth Technology Leadership Conference. (Damn that's hard to write out.) That was quite fun and I was able to see TRUDY!!!! I also saw Tom Tate, Vishal, Jim, and Maria. All kinds of people that I know and work with but usually never get to see. I was able to talk to Trudy about different things and we went and ate out with some of the PC and some of Trudy's Nebraska friends, like Vishal. During this training I missed the training for the Louisiana State 4-H Technology Board. I was devastated because I really really wanted to go to this. I like to meet the people that I'm working with for this year face-to-face. It gives it more of a personal view rather than e-mails. Maybe we can do some Centra conferences. OH!! I forgot about that. I did a Centra conference while I was in Lincoln. It was between myself and the Tech Board members in Louisiana. That's how we elected officers. I'm now the Co-Chairman for the Louisiana State 4-H Technology Board. Very awesome position if I do say so. Should be fun for this year to somewhat be in control :) I've decided to test all of the members of the Tech Board to see if any of them actually use TALY Mail. I have only gotten 2 replies out of about 10 people. That was about a week ago. Oh well, that's why I'm doing my little experiment. Today I decided to do something I hadn't done in a very long time. I went to the library. Not just one library either, no. I went to the library in Opelousas and the library in Sunset. I only checked out one book between the two of them, however. It's a book thats for beginning HTML. I don't really need it but I want to see if it has any commands that I could use while editing. So you see, there hasn't been much going on in my life at all :)
Thu, Jun. 23rd, 2005, 07:51 am 4-H University
Hello everyone!
I'm at 4-H University right now at LSU Campus in Baton Rouge. Been very busy. Contest went well yesterday. I have very high hopes that we'll be in the top 10 to blue ribbon. That would mean that every year that I have gone to 4-H U (Short Course), that I would have blue ribboned. Oh well, If not it's ok.
I spent most of my time after lunch in Wilson Labs working on photos. Styayed there til about 4:30 and then headed back to the dorm.
My roomate isn't that bad. They stole my matress yesterday and I had to deal with that before I headed to the field house. Which means I digress. The field house isn't as badas I thought it would be. I can deal with pretty much everything, except for the heat. We would probably have this in the PMAC anyway so I don't see why I'm complaining. Wed, Jun. 8th, 2005, 10:52 pm
Your brain: 60% interpersonal, 140% visual, 140% verbal, and 60% mathematical! | Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.
Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:
- Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
- Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
- Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.
| | My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 46% on interpersonal | | You scored higher than 83% on visual | | You scored higher than 90% on verbal | | You scored higher than 39% on mathematical |

Well...
I now no longer have a job taking care of young children. My job interests have shifted to theater work. Yes, I now work at the lovely theater here in my home town of Opelousas, LA. I enjoy my job immensely except for the fact of cleaning the God-damned popcorn machine. That thing is so huge and you have to use about 40 paper towels to clean it. Besides that the job isn't that bad at all.
I also have been doing some work at the little theatre. I installed a lock on the storage door and I wired a TV so that the people back stage could see what was happening on the stage during a performance. Need to perfect it still though. During the process of all of this I was able to drive Ms. Dana's Cadillac. That car is so awesome. I wish I could have it. I also managed to fall through a trap door. Fun indeed. I have a lovely array of scars from that.
Being out of school is a blast. I hate being around people my own age for so many hours a day. I enjoy mingling with the ones that I like more, and people that might not necessarily be in my class. Oh well. New school next year, which means new oppurtunitites to meet more friends.
I also start my other summer job on Monday. That job will be working at the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Department. What will I be doing there you might ask. Good question. I don't have the answer. My mom got me the job so I took it. I don't know exactly what I'll be doing, but hope it's fun.
My grandfather passed away on Monday, they laid out his body on
Tuesday, and the funeral was on Wednesday, which was right in the
middle of my first set of finals. My teachers understood though, thank
God. Which means on Thursday I had to go back to school and take FOUR
finals. Very stressful. On Friday I took my final final (hah that's
funny) and I didn't really care what I made on it because I was just
happy that the year was over.
After school the massive water fight began between everyone. Balloons
were being thrown through windows into the building, and out of the
building. Later when I tried to go to my car someone tried to shoot me.
I was prepared though. If this person wouldn't have missed me I would
have most likely went to the back of my car and taken out my water guns
and ice chest full of water balloons :) That might have stopped him
from trying to shoot a water gun at me. Sigh, the advantages of driving
a car.
After the water fight bit we went to Soileau's to eat lunch. I ordered
a T-Bone, which in my opinion wasn't nearly 20 oz. Oh well; I had fun
eating with all of my friends.
I proceeded to announce that I would not be returning next year. I told
everyone that I would be attending Westminster and the only major thing
they wanted to know was why. I explained to them that my parents
thought that the curriculum at Westminster was a lot better than my
previous school's. Some of them said that they were going to check into
going as well. There are some that I hope would be able to get in, some
maybe not.
